I was born and raised on a farm in south-central Saskatchewan, so agriculture has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It’s shaped who I am and has given me a deep appreciation for the hard work, resilience, and community spirit that defines rural living. Today, I live in Rockglen, SK with my fiancé Jesse and our two energetic boys, Remi & Mance. Together we juggle the demands of shift work, family life, and running a family grain farm.
As a fellow business owner, I know what it’s like to juggle a million things at once while trying to keep everything running smoothly. I understand the unique challenges entrepreneurs face, from the constant planning to the unexpected curveballs—especially in the agricultural world, where no two seasons are ever the same. That firsthand experience drives my passion for helping others gain financial clarity and peace of mind.

In another life I would live in the mountains so I love heading west when I can for some fresh air, snowboarding, and stunning views.
Golfing, staying active, spending time with family and friends and catching the occasional good book are my favorite ways to recharge.
The prairie skyline holds a special place in my heart—there’s nothing like those endless rolling hills and sunsets.
Small-town living is my happy place. The slower pace and sense of community beat city life any day.
And yes, coffee is my fuel. A great cup is my secret to tackling busy days!

I thrive on transformation. There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking a pile of chaotic receipts and turning it into a clear, organized set of financials that just makes sense. It’s like solving a puzzle, and I love seeing everything click into place.
The best part? Watching the stress melt away from a client’s face when they realize their finances are finally under control. That moment of relief and newfound clarity is why I do what I do—it’s not just about numbers; it’s about giving people peace of mind.
What Inspired Prairie Collective.
After several years in the accounting industry and having my kids, I realized it was time for a change. The daily 9-to-5 grind and long commutes no longer aligned with the life I wanted to build. I craved more control over my time and energy—both for my family and my career.
As I gained experience, I noticed gaps and inconsistencies in the client experience at traditional accounting firms. I knew I could offer something better: a more personalized, comprehensive approach that truly supported clients. At the same time, I felt a strong pull to invest more in my skills and knowledge, and I realized that to grow, I needed to take a leap.
After a brief “retirement” and a stint as a stay-at-home mom, I started exploring how I could harness my skills in a way that worked for both my family and my professional goals. The idea of starting my own bookkeeping business began to take shape. With the help of a mentorship program and an incredible online bookkeeping community, I took the plunge—and Prairie Collective Bookkeeping & Accounting was born.
Inspired by my prairie roots and lifelong connection to the agricultural community, Prairie Collective reflects both where I come from and the values I bring to my work: dedication, integrity, and a commitment to helping others thrive.

What it looks like to work together.
I’m all about making things as convenient and efficient as possible for you, which is why I use cloud-based accounting software. This means everything can be done remotely, so you can access your financials from anywhere, anytime.
QuickBooks is my go-to accounting software, and I pair it with helpful apps like Dext. With Dext, you simply scan and upload your receipts digitally, while you hold onto the physical copies. I’ll have access to those digital versions, and from there, I’ll make sure your income and expenses are recorded accurately and that your accounts are reconciled—ensuring nothing gets missed or duplicated.
Going virtual allows me to streamline services and offer you faster, more efficient support without compromising on quality. We’ll connect through Google Meets for our meetings, but if you’re not into video calls, no worries! I’m happy to chat the old-fashioned way—on the phone. :)
